Yesterday was a beautiful, sunny day in Orlando. On my way to return the rental car. I stopped to fill up the tank. I pulled off the highway and pulled into the first gas station on the route. I looked at the Sun Gas Xpress price 87 octane was $5.29 per gallon. I will pay for convenience but I won’t be ripped off! I climbed back in the car and headed down the street. To my delight, a sparkling clean WaWa was just north of SunGas. I pulled in and filled my tank for $3.09 per gallon.
Each WaWa employee I encountered inside greeted me. I decided to enjoy coffee and lunch with some of the savings. Heck, I even bought a pound of coffee to take home with me. I’m sure glad that I got back in the car and drove a little more. I will now look first for a Wawa!
Funny thing – I spent what I saved inside the store! It made me happy.
